ESLP and the Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee is composed of:
- Microbiology specialists who have the latest scientific knowledge to:
- Help inform the ESLP about the latest knowledge in the field of microbiology.
- Determine the criteria for analysing products.
- Obtain information from the company requesting the ESLP label about specific strains.
- Mandate the independent laboratory that will perform the analyses.
- Draw conclusions and make any necessary comments by reporting the analysis results submitted by the independent laboratory.
- Transmit the final report and opinion on obtaining the ESLP quality label to the ESLP executive committee.
- Specialists with the latest scientific knowledge in their field to:
- Help inform the ESLP about the development of scientific knowledge.
- Support the ESLP in its mission to promote research in this field.
